Everyone deserves the chance to preserve their digital legacy. So we work with our community to make sure that disadvantaged and marginalized communities and people will also have access to enduring data storage. With the prominence of digital data creation in modern society, access to safe and permanent storage should not be a luxury. We partner with local nonprofits and provide them with the storage they need to benefit their communities. This is our “Byte4Byte” program; donations made to this program cover the cost of free storage for those in need. Learn more about the Byte4Byte program at https://permanent.org/byte4byte/.
