Commercial Storage Partners
Running a data center is a major capital investment and organizational commitment that is not a core requirement to our mission. In fact, we see it as a liability.
Instead, we leverage reliable, cost-effective commercial services that are already doing it. In today's data storage terms, we're multi-cloud.
Our current storage partners include:
- Amazon S3 – hot tier, 2 regions, private and public files
- Backblaze B2 – hot tier, 1 region, private and public files
- The Internet Archive – hot tier, 1 region, public files only
