Redeem a Storage Code

A Permanent.org storage code is a promotional code that can be redeemed for storage. You may have received an email from us when you signed up for your Permanent account with a storage code you can redeem for free storage.

If you did not receive this email, or cannot find the email, please try searching your inbox and spam folder for messages from "marketing@permanent.org" or "support@permanent.org." Then, add "marketing@support.org" and "support@permanent.org" as a safe senders. This will ensure that you receive future communications from us.

To redeem a storage code you have received, log into your Permanent.org account, then navigate to your account menu by clicking your email address in the top right corner. In your account menu, click Storage.



A new window will open where you can add additional storage, view file and transactional history, and redeem a gift code. Click Redeem Gift on the left side of the window. Type the gift code you have received into the box, then click Redeem. Your account will be credited for the amount of storage for the gift code. You will see a confirmation at the bottom of the window.



You can view the amount of storage used and remaining for your account in the Add Storage tab of the Storage page, or by opening your account menu.


Did you see an error message when you entered your storage code? To troubleshoot, please try the following steps:
  1. Ensure that there are no extra spaces at the beginning or end of your code
  2. Ensure that you match the case of the code (i.e. if the code is "Permanent," the P needs to be capitalized)
  3. Double check that you haven't already successfully redeemed the code by checking your total storage on the Add Storage page
