Permanent.org will refund storage that has not been used in the following cases outlined in this document.
We will refund storage in units of gigabytes, rounded down, up to the storage that remains unused in your account. The refund can be requested up to 90 days after purchase. If it has been longer than 90 days, we are unable to refund storage. For instance, if you purchased 10 GB of storage and only used 7.5 GB of storage, you can request a refund for the unused 2GB ($20) of storage up to 90 days from the time of purchase. The remaining .5 GB of storage will remain in your account for you to use, as we cannot refund partial gigabytes of storage.
If you have sent a gift of storage to another person that has not been claimed, you can request that the gift be returned to you at any time. If you purchased that gifted storage within 90 days, you can request a refund of the purchased storage as well.
