FileZilla is one of the supported SFTP clients with Permanent's SFTP feature. This means that FileZilla has been extensively tested with Permanent and has shown to work well for most SFTP features.
You can download FileZilla at this link.

Using FileZilla
Once you have established a connection with Permanent, you can use FileZilla to upload files from your computer to your Permanent archives or download files from your Permanent archives to your computer.
To upload files from your computer to your Permanent archive, first select which archive and workspace you would like to upload to on the right side of the FileZilla window. For more information on how to navigate your folders using SFTP, take a look at this article. Once you have navigated to the correct workspace on the right side, locate the file(s) you would like to upload on the left side of the FileZilla window. Click and drag the file(s) you would like to upload from the left side of the screen to the right side of the screen, where you selected the location of the upload in your archive. Release your mouse button and this will begin the SFTP upload. The status of your upload and any errors will be logged at the top of the FileZilla window.

While you cannot delete or rename files from your archive using FileZilla, if you make any changes or delete any files from your archive using the Permanent web app in a browser, you can click the refresh button at the top of the FileZilla window to refresh your file list.
To download files from your archive to your computer, navigate to the archive, folder(s), or file(s) you would like to download on the right side of the FileZilla window. Then, on the left side of the window, navigate to where you would like to save the downloaded files. Drag the archive, folder(s), or file(s) from the right side of the screen to the destination on the left side of the screen to begin the download. Your progress and any errors will be logged at the top of the FileZilla window.
