Verify Your Email and Phone Number

Verify Your Email and Phone Number

At Permanent, we value giving our members control over how their accounts are accessed and used. That's why we use two factor authentication when signing in from a different device. It's important to verify your email and phone number in your account so that you do not miss any two factor authentication messages.

When you log into a new Permanent account, a notification will appear at the top of your screen to verify your email address. You can click that notification to access the verification screen. There will also be a yellow alert icon on the drop down menu with your login email address until your email address or phone number has been verified.

You can also navigate to your account settings in Permanent by clicking on the drop down menu with your email address on it in the top right corner of your screen. Then, click on "Settings" and then "Login Info" on the left side of the new screen. Here, you can verify your email address and add a cell phone number to get text notifications for two factor authentication.

Changing your email address in this window changes your login information. Be sure to use an email address that you can access and make note of which email address you use for future logins.

If you have not yet verified your email address or cell phone number, there will be a button to verify the information. If the information has been verified, it will say "Verified" in green text under "Verification Status."

To verify your email address or phone number, click the button to the right of the "Verification Status." This will take you to a new screen where you can enter a verification code. Either an email or a text will be sent to the email address or cell phone number you listed.

The email will include a link to verify your email address, or, alternatively, you can copy the code and enter it on the verification code screen in your browser. The text will include your verification code that you will enter on the verification code screen. Once your email address or phone number has been verified, the verification status will change to "Verified." You can change your email address and phone number using these steps at any time.

At this time, we are unable to support international numbers outside of the United States and Canada. We apologize for this inconvenience.
