Searching within a Public Archive

Searching within a Public Archive

The search bar in a Public Archive allows you to search within that archive for specific materials that have been published based on the titles and descriptions of files and folders.

To search within a Public Archive, look for the search bar located in the top right corner of the archive.

In the search bar, type the search you wish to perform, then hit the Enter button. The search feature searches the titles and descriptions of files.

At this time, other metadata fields other than the title and description are not searchable. We are working on improving our search feature to include more metadata, so be on the lookout for additional updates to this feature.

This will take you to a new page with the results of your search. To view an item in the search, double click the file to open it.

To navigate back to the search results, click the "Back" button. To navigate back to the public archive, click the "Back to archive" button on the search results page.

Please note that this search feature only searches the items in the archive that have been published to the Public Archive. To search all items in an archive, you must have access to that archive as an archive member. If you have access to the archive, you can use the search feature in the workspaces to search the entire archive.
