Check Storage
To check how much storage you have in your Permanent.org account and how much storage you have used, you can check the storage bar in your Account Menu. You can open your Account Menu by tapping the gear icon in the top right corner of your screen.
Once your Account Menu is open, find the Storage Bar at the top of the menu. The Storage Bar will show you how much storage you have used across all the archives you have uploaded to, as well as your remaining storage.
Add additional storage
If you have run out of storage and need to make a donation for additional storage, open the Storage menu by going to your Account Menu in the top right corner of your screen, then tapping Storage. A new page will load.
On this page, you can make a donation for additional storage. Select the button with the amount you would like to donate, or manually enter an amount. Every $10 endows 1GB of storage. If you enter a number that is not a multiple of ten, you will receive the amount of storage that corresponds to the rounded down amount (i.e. if you donate $25, you will receive 2GB of storage). You can also choose to make the donation anonymous, which means that your name will not show up on our homepage for this donation.
Whether you make the donation anonymous or not, your storage will automatically be credited to your account when you donate through the Storage Menu. You will receive an email with your donation receipt, and the transaction will be logged in your Transaction History. We sincerely appreciate your support of Permanent.org!
